Tsunami Warning Issued for Indonesia After Two Quakes, 6.9 & 6.8 Magnitudes, Hit Near Kandrian, Papua New Guinea

BREAKING: Tsunami warning issued for Indonesia after two earthquakes with preliminary magnitudes of 6.9 and 6.8 respectively, hit off the coast of Papua New Guinea Sunday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

According to USGS, the first quake occurred at a dept of 35 miles, with an epicenter of about 71 miles from the city of Kandrian, Papua New Guinea. The second quake struck close to the first, about 67 miles from Kandrian.

No injuries or damages have been reported thus far.
