Shooting at Lake Sammamish State Park in Issaquah Saturday night leaves two dead and four injured, with six people in police custody.

It is a crying shame that people can't go to some city parks and have a pleasant stroll or visit. According to the Seattle Times, two men are dead and four injured from a hail of gunshots around 9 p.m. at a party Saturday at Lake Sammamish State Park in Issaquah.

According to the Seattle Times, King County Sheriff's Office spokesman John Urquhart said police had at least six people in custody. The police also recovered one gun from the scene, he said, and several more guns in a car attempting to leave the park. The police are operating under the theory that several guns were hidden in the park immediately after the shooting.
