Roger Williams & Grace Nichole Trotman Charged with Homicide in Death of 2-Year Old Boy, Rodricus Williams

Roger Williams & Grace Nichole Trotman charged with homicide in the death of two-year old Rodricus Williams, after body found encased in concrete in trash can in South Carlina.

The death penalty isn't a viable alternative for some criminals. They should be made to suffer and die slowly. According to ABC 4 Charleston, Roger Williams, 29, and Grace Nichole Trotman, 24, were charged with homicide by child abuse after an autopsy revealed the concrete in a trash bin that held the body of a young black boy who matched the description the couple had given Charleston police for Williams' missing son, Rodricus Williams, said Berkeley County, SC, Sheriff Wayne DeWitt.

According to Sheriff DeWitt, the death of Rodricus Williams was not accidental and they believe boy died at the home Williams and Trotman were living in near Sangaree. So far, there is no cause of death or confirmed positive identity on body in concrete although the sheriff said the twists in hair described by the mother were seen on the body.

Since the remains are too decomposed to I.D., investigators are awaiting results of a DNA test to determine whether the body found is that of Rodricus Williams. Sheriff Dewitt says the body was wrapped in trash bags then covered in concrete in the trash can. They believe the body has been dead for several days, and the location of the trashcan in Bowman was random. MUSC records indicate the child had been treated on numerous occasions, and authorities have supeoned the records to get specifics on injuries and treatments. Source

According to ABC 4 Charleston, Trotman is also being charged in Charleston with filing a false police report. The child's remains were found buried in 400 pounds of concrete in the trash can, two days after police said the couple fabricated the tale that the boy had fallen into the Charleston Harbor, a popular tourist location. This lie sparked a search frenzy by police and rescue workers on foot, by boat and helicopter that lasted more than 10 hours.  The couple is expected to appear in bond court Thursday night. My heart aches for this little boy. Why are some dirtbags able to procreate with little effort, while some decent and honorable parents are unable to conceive?
