Georgia teen, Thomas Brewer, struck and killed by train while sitting on railroad tracks, while another teen, Austin Dix, suffered injuries.

I can't understand why anyone in their right minds would sit on railroad tracks. Two teens in Kennesaw, Ga., were struck by a train early Friday morning, killing one and the other suffering non-life threatening injuries.

According to WSB-TV, Thomas Brewer, 18, from Kennesaw, was pronounced dead at the scene, while paramedics took Austin Dix, 17, of Douglasville, to WellStar Kennestone Hospital.

Police said the two teens were sitting on the railroad tracks when they were hit. Police said they didn't know why the two were there. This kid lost his life senselessly and why were they allowed to be out so late?
