Frederick Lemon Rogers has been arrested and charged with murder, aggravated assault and gun charges in the shooting death of his father, Frederick B. Rogers, 49, and injuring his mother, Sarah Rogers, after an argument ensued in their Duluth, Ga., home Saturday. What in the world could lead a child to murder his father and wound his mother?

According to Channel 2 Action News, the shooting happened sometime after noon Saturday at a home in the 3300 block of Ennfield Lane. The elder Rogers, who had a landscaping business, was taken to Gwinnett Medical Center where he later died, while his mother, was grazed in the arm by a bullet.

Frederick Rogers has been denied bail and many neighbors are questioning what happened to cause such tragedy. Many have said the family seemed very close and are left in shock.
