Baltimore Police: 13-Year-Old Girl Wanted in Fatal Shooting in East Baltimore

Baltimore police say the suspect in fatal shooting of Hispanic man is a 13-year-old girl.

It is a sad commentary that a 13 year old girl is a suspect in a fatal shooting in an attempted robbery in East Baltimore. According to the Baltimore Sun, police said the girl tried to rob two men Aug. 13 in the 100 block of N. Linwood Ave, about a block north of Patterson Park. Further, when the men resisted, police say the girl shot them both.

Thankfully, one man survived, but sadly the second man died from a gunshot wound to the head. As of Sunday night, police has not arrested the girl. According tot he Baltimore Sun, they are still trying to confirm her identity and find her. The police said this incident is one of a disturbing string of attacks against Hispanic men in the Baltimore area in recent weeks.

It is very disturbing that a 13 year old girl could be fingered as a suspect in armed robbery. Sad turn of events.
