Rep. Bobby Bright (D-AL) Isn't So "Bright" to Joke About Nancy Pelosi's Death in Coming Months

Rep. Bobby Bright (D-AL) jokes about Nancy Pelosi falling ill and dying in the coming months.

Alabama congressman Bobby Bright isn't living up to his last name. He isn't so "bright" after all. According to the Montgomery Advertiser, he was heard having a little fun at U.S. Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi's expense during his recent participation in the Montgomery Area Chamber of Commerce's Eggs and Issues. He joked that Nancy Pelosi might fall ill and die in the coming months. To which some not-so-bright-people yukked it up.

Bright, who is is in his first year in Congress and facing a battle against Montgomery City Councilwoman Martha Roby this fall, joked that Pelosi might lose her own election, decide not to run for the speaker’s job or otherwise not be available.

Though he has a reputation as the second most independent member of Congress, he has been routinely blasted for voting for Pelosi to be speaker. Source: Montgomery Advertiser
Since when is death something to joke about? He owes Nancy Pelosi an apology. Disagree with her on the issues, but don't take despicable potshots at her and her life. Doesn't Rep. Bright realize he could "kick the bucket" before Nancy Pelosi?
