Black student, Kelvin Dooley, of De Laselle County High School in Kansas, along with a group of students and mentors have developed a car that can get more than 400 miles per gallon. Dooley said the experience he gained being on the team had made him change his dreams from being a basketball player to being an engineer. That's very encouraging to hear because so many black kids aspire to be athletes and not an engineer or a doctor, for example. I must state that my own children, though they play youth club soccer, aspire to become an architect and an anesthesiologist, respectively, not just becoming professional soccer players.Watch the video:
