Florida Deputy Accidentally Tased 3 Year Old Boy as Suspect, Sylvester Hill, Arrested

Florida deputy accidentally tasered three year old boy as wanted man, Sylvester Hill, was arrested.

Volusia County police accidentally tased a three year old boy after a deputy tried to use his taser on Sylvester Hill, who was riding in a car with the child. This occurred in the middle of the day with lots of shoppers witnessing the incident, according to My Fox Orlando. The car was reportedly pulled over because the window tint appeared too dark. The deputy reportedly realized Hill was wanted on an outstanding warrant for allegedly beating up a pregnant woman, the deputy tried to arrest Hill and the child was tased in the process.
The deputy says Hill got out of the vehicle halfway through the window and had the deputy pinned against the car through the window in a head lock. The deputy got out his taser and tried to shock Hill. That’s when the deputy says Hill grabbed the taser and, as they fought with it, it went off. Hill fell to the ground, then took off running. The incident caused most of downtown Deland, including some schools, to be put on lockdown for several hours. Deputies and Deland police caught up with Hill a few hours later hiding in a home nearby. The boy was checked out at the scene, and was sent home with his mom, who was driving the vehicle. Source
Though what happened to the child was unfortunate, it was clearly an accident. If Mr. Hill was on the right side of the law then I could join in and cry outrage, but he was wanted on an outstanding warrant. Seems to me that he didn't care for the child one bit.
