Dallas Walters, 20 Months Old, Mauled to Death by Family Rottweiler

Here's another reason why Rottweilers shouldn't be embraced as family pets. New Port Richey resident Dallas Walters, 20 months old, was mauled to death by a family dog. 

According to the Saint Petersburg Times, the child was eating a cookie during a birthday party as his aunt's house, when it fell from his hands. He went to grab it and was attacked by a Rottweiler.

The dog was pulled off the child and family members transported him to Northbay Hospital in New Port Richey where he was pronounced dead. Pasco County Animal Control took the dog.
