President Obama tells NBC's Today Show that he knows "whose ass to kick" in BP Gulf oil spill that is fast become a marine-life apocalypse.
On NBC’s Today show this morning, President Obama said he's talking to experts on the oil disaster in the Gulf and that he knows "whose ass to kick." (watch the video below) Sorry, but the president used a poor choice of words and that's not what I expect to hear from him on national television. That phrase should have been uttered in private, not for the whole world to hear.President Obama said he would have fired BP CEO Tony Hayward and he criticized the company for cutting some corners in terms of safety that led to the oil spill. Shouldn't he had been talking this tough weeks ago? This is fast becoming a marine-life apocalypse. President Obama said he doesn't want to talk to Hayward, but shouldn't he had done that and told him in no uncertain terms what he really thought of BP's handling of the matter? Surely President Obama realizes he runs the risk of this being called his "Katrina." It is troubling to me that President Obama is getting his information about this matter second hand.
