Dontae Morris Wanted in Shooting Deaths of Tampa Officers David Curtis & Jeff Kocab

Tampa police department seeking to arrest Dontae Morris in the shooting deaths of Officers David Curtis and Jeff Kocab after routing traffic stop.

Have you seen Dontae Morris? Well, Tampa police are seeking Morris in the shooting deaths of Officers David Curtis and Jeff Kocab. It is amazing that this dirtbag has eluded capture for so long. The police also want to talk to Morris' brother, Dwayne Daniel Callaway, in connection with the crime. He is wanted on two counts of violation of probation stemming from a domestic battery charge, according to Tampa Bay Online.

Police Chief Jane Castor said the $95,000 reward is the largest ever offered in a police officer's death. The money has come from the FBI, the U.S. Marshals Service, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, Crime Stoppers and the Police Defense Fund.

The search for Morris, 24, stretches across the state. Early this morning, officers again donned armor as they prepared to search another location – a tip that didn't pan out. Morris' relatives have called for him to turn himself in. Source: Tampa Bay Online
Why am I not surprised that Morris is an ex-convict.  He was released from state prison in April after serving time on a drug charge, only to graduate to committing a more heinous crime. He was also wanted on a misdemeanor warrant in Jacksonville, Fla. Anyone harboring this dirtbag should be ashamed and must come to their senses and contact the police. For anyone who has a problem with me calling a cop killer a dirtbag, take a look at his rap sheet first. Dontae Morris is dangerous and belongs behind bars for the rest of his life or be given the death penalty. If you have any information in the shooting of these two officers, please contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-873-8477, go online to make an anonymous report at www.crimestopperstb.com.
