Seattle Officer Ian Walsh Caught on Video Punching 17 Year Old Black Girl in Face Over Jaywalking Dispute

Seattle Police Officer Ian Walsh accused of punching 17 year old black girl in the face during a dispute over jaywalking.

Is it okay for a police officer to punch a woman in the face for jaywalking? Well, it seems that the president of the Seattle Police Officers Guild believes Officer Ian P. Walsh was justified in punching a 17 year old black young woman, who shoved him in a dispute over jaywalking. Wow, I didn't think jaywalking was such a big deal, especially since we have more serious criminal offenses to deal with.

According to KCPQ-TV, O'Neil said punching her in the face was appropriate use of force as the Walsh struggled with two women and a crowd had formed.

Cell phone video shows Walsh trying to control two women Monday and punching the young lady in the face, who was wrong to resist arrest. It is clear that Officer Walsh could have overpowered these two women without resorting to punching one in the face. The language used by both women was a disgrace. Police are conducting an internal investigation.
