Off-Duty Trooper Wesley Brown, Fatally Shot at Forestville, Md., Applebee's Restaurant

Off-duty trooper, Wesley Brown, shot and killed as he did security work at Forestville, Md., restaurant.

Off-duty trooper Wesley Brown, a three year veteran on the force, was gunned down this morning as he did some security work at a Forestville Applebee's restaurant. The suspect is still at large.
Trooper Wesley Brown, a three-year veteran of the force, had escorted an angry male customer out of an Applebee's on Thursday evening, a Prince George's County police spokesman said. About 12:40 a.m., as Brown, 24, left the restaurant in the 3300 block of Donnell Drive, police said the man — hiding in the parking lot — fired several shots at the trooper. Police were uncertain if the suspect left and returned or remained in the parking lot after he was asked to leave the restaurant. Source: Baltimore Sun
I am sorry to hear that another law enforcement agent has been killed and I hope the killer is apprehended quickly.
