Jamaican strongman Christopher "Dudus" Coke in police custody in St. Catherine, JA, and Kingston under curfew.
Dudus is in the custody of Jamaican police. According to the Jamaica Observer, strongman Christopher "Dudus" Coke is now being held at Spanish Town Police Station in St. Catherine. He was handed over to police by Rev. Al Miller and is reportedly prepared to waive his right to an extradition hearing.Yes, the U.S. government will now get their man and this ridiculous sideshow can come to an end. He is wanted by the United States on gun and drug trafficking charges. The police also want Rev. Al Miller, who was instrumental in Dudus' siblings - Sandra (AKA Sandy) and Leighton (AKA Levity) surrendering to police, to turn himself in as well. It's funny how he knew exactly where these dirtbags were and waited until the violence erupted in Tivoli Gardens and beyond.
Now if only Bruce Golding could step down from office as the Prime Minister for bungling this whole process when he deliberately stonewalled the American government over extraditing this dirtbag. According to the Jamaica Observer, the Commissioner Owen Ellington said Dudus was arrested by police at a checkpoint on Mandela Highway acting on an intelligence tip. The circumstances surrounding his arrest are under investigation. According to the Jamaica Observer, he has been transported from the police station at Spanish Town to a "secure location." The commissioner also reportedly refused to say whether the $5 million bounty will be paid out to anyone.
UPDATE#1: Dudus is in American custody. He landed at Thursday at White Plains-Westchester County Airport outside New York City from Jamaica. Either he is a narcissist or a sociopath, but he seems to see himself as a victim in this mess. He told reporters as he got into a car at the airport that he "loved the people of Jamaica." Really, is that why he allowed the armed forces to storm his stronghold of Tivoli Gardens and kill so many civilians?
