NFL Great Lawrence Taylor Indicted on Charges of Rape, Sexual Abuse of 16YO Girl in Upstate NY

Former New York Giants football great, Lawrence Taylor, indicted by grand jury on charges of rape & sexual abuse of 16 year old girl.

Lawrence Taylor, pro-football Hall of Famer, has been indicted by a Rocklandy County, New York, grand jury on charges of rape, criminal sexual act and sexual abuse.

The indictment comes after his May 6 arrest at a Holiday Inn. Prosecutors said he paid a 16-year-old girl $300 to have sex with him. Taylor was also indicted on charges of endangering the welfare of a child and patronizing a prostitute.

According to Rockland County District Attorney Thomas Zugibe, the girl told investigators that she had been verbally threatened and physically assaulted. She said she was brought to the hotel room by a pimp, who was later arrested by New York City police.

This is the final nail in the coffin of what could be considered as a stellar NFL career. Lawrence Taylor won't be remembered for his moves on the football field. He will be remembered for allegedly raping a 16 year old girl. What a shame. Lawrence Taylor is a married man and his wife does not deserve this mess. As Obama said on the campaign trail, "you can put lipstick on a pig and it's still a pig." Lawrence Taylor had a history of messing with prostitutes and once again, it has led to his downfall.
