Martha Dean, GOP Endorsed Candidate for CT AG, Advocates Firearms Training to be Taught in Public Schools

Martha Dean, GOP endorsed candidate for Connecticut AG, advocates firearms training to be taught in public schools, scout groups and summer camps.

Some politicians will say anything to get elected. Martha Dean, GOP endorsed candidate for Connecticut Attorney General is advocating firearms training to be taught to kids in schools, scout groups and in summer camps. So, we say no to religion being taught in public schools but yes to teaching children to shoot? Wow. According to the Hartford Courant, Dean said if elected she would explore expanding gun accident prevention programs and rifle club teams in schools. Ms. Dean initially made these ridiculous statements during a Second Amendment rally in April and stood by them again on Monday. Sorry, but the office of the Attorney General isn't the platform to advocate a social agenda or even push giving guns to children, especially in schools.
