Right wing evangelical Bill Keller issues $10,000 challenge to MSNBC's Rachel Maddow to produce President Obama's Hawaiian long-form birth certificate.
Why are we still revisiting the issue of President Barack Obama's birth certificate? It seems that the right wing evangelicals just can't grasp the notion that a black man is president of the United States of America. Enter Bill Keller, leader of Internet-based LivePrayer. He has issued a $10,000 challenge to MSNBC's Rachel Maddow to produce the Hawaiian long-form birth certificate of the president. This sounds almost as ridiculous as Orly Tate's campaign to discredit President Obama on the basis of such an empty charge. How many people have a copy of their long-form birth certificate from back in the 1960s? I wonder, does Mr. Keller have a copy of his long-form birth certificate?
Bill Keller who is seen daily on Comcast's MyTV8 has issued a $10,000 challenge to MSNBC host Rachel Maddow to produce the Hawaiian long-form birth certificate of President Barack Obama. Late last year, Keller was hired to produce and host an infomercial that aired in markets around the country which simply asked the question, where was President Obama really born? Maddow used her MSNBC program to mock and demean Keller and those who simply are asking that the President produce his long-form birth certificate. Keller contacted Maddow's producers and offered to appear with Maddow on her program, but she declined his offer.
Keller stated, "Maddow acts like she is a journalist, when in fact, all she does each night is act as a press agent for the President and his administration. If she wants to be a journalist, go use the cast resources of NBC/General Electric and produce a copy of the official Hawaiin long form birth certificate of President Obama. If she can do that, I will be happy to give her $10,000."
Keller goes on, "I am not interested in the Certificate of Live Birth the President has produced, since anyone can get that with a phone call. Also, the newspaper birth announcements came from the ordering of the Certificate of Live Birth. All I, or anyone interested has ever asked, is for the President to produce the same document anyone can produce if they are born in the United States. That is an official long form birth certificate showing the name of the hospital he was born in, the attending physician, and all other pertinent information a real birth certificate contains." The U.S. Electoral College ratified President Obama's win and the Supreme Court had no problem with the fact that he is a natural-born American, so why doesn't Mr. Keller and his posse of religious nutjobs find a better cause to champion? I can think of several causes he could donate that $10,000 to. Bill Keller is just another right wing evangelical who ascribes to the notion that we must do as the right wing evangelicals say and not what they do. What a hypocrite. Have people like Bill Keller ever stop to wonder why many Americans are shunning organized religion?
