More gun violence in Brooklyn as Donzell Rodgers, 21, was shot and killed, while eight others were wounded, at a party early Saturday morning. This gruesome scene unfolded at a brownstone home on Wyona Street in Brooklyn and a "teenage" witness said the shooter just "pulled out a gun and started firing shots, about 12." Why was a teenager allowed to attend a party, where alcohol was obviously being served, and in the wee hours of the morning?

Frightened party-goers bolted from the house, spilling onto the sidewalk and leaping over fences through backyards to escape the wild scene, sources said.

Rodgers, who had previous arrests for drugs, gang assualt and robbery, spent the evening at his girlfriend’s house and left to grab a bite to eat at a local chicken joint, a friend said, but thought he’d check out the party. "He just slipped in," the pal said. Source: NY Post
