GOP presidential hopeful Michele Bachmann says President Obama secretly wants Medicare to go bankrupt to force seniors on Obamacare.

As usual, GOP presidential hopeful Michele Bachmann has put her foot in her mouth. She doesn't exactly come with the comic relief we have grown to expect from Sarah Palin, but she has uttered some crazy sh*t in recent years. She suggested during her remarks at the Republican Leadership Conference that President Obama secretly wanted Medicare to go bankrupt so retirees would be forced to enroll in Obamacare. Really Michele? Where did you get that information?

“This hasn’t been talked about very much — the president’s plan for senior citizens is Obamacare,” Ms. Bachmann told party activists. She added, “I think very likely what the president intends is that Medicare will go broke and ultimately that answer will be Obamacare for senior citizens.” Source

Mrs. Bachmann, maybe it hasn't been talked about because it is simply not true. You know this woman is a raging, no blooming idiot, who embodies the worst of American politics -- extreme ignorance about public policy, coupled with a deep ignorance of American history. Do you still think she's smarter than Sarah Palin or is presidential material? She's just brimming over with conspiracy theories that don't amount to a hill of beans.
