Time Magazine Editor-at-Large Mark Halperin Calls President Obama a "Dick" on "Morning Joe"

Mark Halperin, MSNBC senior political analyst, apologizes after calling President Barack Obama a "dick" on live TV during "Morning Joe."

Mark Halperin, editor-at-large of Time magazine, called President Barack Obama a "dick" on the air during his appearance on "Morning Joe." He quickly apologized, but the damage has been done. That is simply reprehensible and he should be canned from appearing on MSNBC>
“I thought he was a dick yesterday,” Halperin, who also is a senior political analyst for MSNBC, said on Morning Joe, referring to the President’s conduct during his press conference. Source
You know Joe Scarborough wanted to crawl under his desk because of the nature of the comment. He tried to prevent the comment from being broadcast, saying “Delay that. Delay that. What are you doing? I can’t believe… don’t do that. Did we delay that?” Too late. It was aired.

Mark Halperin joins the ranks of people like Rev. Jesse Jackson, who said he wanted to cut off Obama's "nuts." This is a shame. Sorry, we don't need to see Mark Halperin on MSNBC again.

MSNBC suspends Mark Halperin "indefinitely" for saying President Obama was a "dick" on live TV.

UPDATE#1: MSNBC released a statement about Halperin's slur: Mark Halperin’s comments this morning were completely inappropriate and unacceptable. We apologize to the President, The White House and all of our viewers. We strive for a high level of discourse and comments like these have no place on our air. Therefore, Mark will be suspended indefinitely from his role as an analyst.

Statement from Mark Halperin: I completely agree with everything in MSNBC’s statement about my remark. I believe that the step they are taking in response is totally appropriate. Again, I want to offer a heartfelt and profound apology to the President, to my MSNBC colleagues, and to the viewers. My remark was unacceptable, and I deeply regret it.
