Miss USA contestant Miss Tennessee was asked about burning a Koran by judge Rocco DeSpirito. You will recall Florida pastor Terry Jones threatened to do so, and eventually did. Could that answer have cost her the crown? Miss Alabama bungled her question about bullying. She said "being a future educator, she would prosecute the bully to bring resolution." What? She talked in circles. Miss Texas was asked by actress Mariel Hemmingway about famous men cheating on their wives. She basically said the men should learn to be more respectful and these wives should move forward. In other words, the wives should go "bye bye." We all know that was a dig against ex-Rep.
