Pauline Nyiramasuhuko, 65, has been sentenced to life in prison for her role in the Rwandan genocide in the south-western border town of Butare. She is the only woman who has tried and found guilty by the UN International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda. According to BBC News, Nyiramasuhuko has been described as a tyrant. It is a shame that a woman who came from such humble beginnings and later became a social worker and earned a university law degree at age 44, could sink to such a level of depravity and pure evil.
