GOP Presidential Hopeful Michele Bachmann Says President Obama has "Failed the African American & Black Communities" on Job Creation

GOP presidential hopeful Michele Bachmann says President Obama has "failed the Hispanic and black communities, and has failed us all on job creation.

Oh no, Michele Bachmann didn't go there? Yes she did! She said President Obama has failed blacks and Hispanics. That's music to the ears of Cornel West! She cited the 16 percent unemployment rate among blacks and the high rate for Hispanics and said, “This president has failed the Hispanic community. He has failed the African-American community,” said Bachmann. “He has failed us all when it comes to jobs.” Please Michele tell us exactly what you would do to stem the high unemployment rates among these two groups?
“Mr. President, the status quo is not working for Americans,” said Bachmann. “The status quo certainly isn't working for the African-American community, with 16 percent unemployment, or the Hispanic community, with nearly 12 percent unemployment. It's even worse for the youth: For Hispanic youth right now, 26 percent unemployment; for African-American youth, 40 percent unemployment. Source
For once Michele Bachmann made a valid point and cited accurate figures. Yes, the high unemployment rates in the black and Hispanic communities warrant the president's attention, now, not next year when we are in an election year. President Obama hasn't done anything because he has no clue on what to do. Just like the foreclosure prevention program. It didn't help many people, so much so that they are looking at another foreclosure bailout program. Couldn't we have done this two years ago? Come on President Obama, I'm beginning to wonder if you are in over your head. It's scary when Michele Bachmann is the voice of reason, even for 10 minutes. It's still scary.
