Singer Christina Aguilera arrested on public intoxication charges, boyfriend Matthew Rutler facing driving under the influence charge.

First Christina Aguilera botches the National Anthem at the recent Superbowl and now she has another PR nightmare -- an arrest record. According to CNN, Xtina was arrested on misdemeanor charges and released on $250 bail, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said Tuesday. I would love to know what this is all about, since her boyfriend, Matthew Rutler's bail is reportedly considerably higher -- $30,000.

UPDATE#1:TMZ is reporting that she was popped for public intoxication and her boyfriend was arrested for driving under the influence. I didn't realize that she has been battling demons -- friends have reportedly been trying to get her into rehab. I hope she pulls herself together for the sake of her son, or risk losing him.
