Tampa Bay Cornerback Aqib Talib Facing 2nd Degree Felony for Pistol-Whipping Sister's Boyfriend

Tampa Bay Buccaneers starting cornerback Aqib Talib is wanted on a felony warrant for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after Garland, TX, police said he attempted to pistol-whip and fired shots at his sister's boyfriend. Dumbass. According to Tampa Bay Online, he is expected to turn himself in later this week and bail will be set at $25,000.

I guess the fruit doesn't fall far from the tree, does it? His mother, Okolo Talib, 58, also is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. She turned herself in to police Tuesday morning and was also charged with felon in possession of a firearm due to a previous conviction, the newspaper said. Bail was set at $30,000.

When will the court system and the NFL send a zero-tolerance message to these young men? It is ridiculous that a few continue to make front page news for their thuggish behavior.
