Fennville High Basketball Player Wes Leonard Collapses & Dies Shortly After Making Game Winning Shot

Wes Leonard, a student at Fennville High in Michigan, collapsed on the basketball court and later died after making a game-winning layup in overtime to cap his team's perfect season, according to the AJC. He hit the game-winning basket Thursday against another team that brought their record to 20-0.Leonard died hours later at Holland Hospital. A cause of death has not yet been determined.
