John Jay grad and JPMorgan Chase employee Kamisha Richards stabbed to death in dispute over $20 for milk and diapers for boyfriend's sister, Kayla Henriques.
SHOCK: Kamisha Richards, a 22-year-old John Jay graduate, was stabbed to death in a Brooklyn housing project Monday night during an argument over $20 she lent her boyfriend's sister, Kayla Henriques to buy Pampers, according to the NY Daily News. Wow, this young woman lost her life over $20.
Family members described Richards as a John Jay grad and said she worked for JPMorgan Chase. The relatives said she stayed on-and-off in the Cypress Hills complex, where her boyfriend of seven years, Ramel Henriques, lived.
No one was immediately arrested, but detectives were questioning several people, including an 18-year-old woman identified by sources as the boyfriend's sister. She was picked up by police in a neighboring building.
Richards' friends and relatives said the victim had recently lent the sister $20 to buy disposable diapers and milk for the sister's baby, then got angry when she found out the woman spent the money on other things. Source
Wow, seems like the alleged perpetrator bit the hand that fed her. It is a shame that she loaned this woman money to buy diapers for her baby and she used the money for something else. This is a new level of depravity. It's a sad commentary that an educated woman was living in the projects, even if it was to visit her boyfriend. There are far too many horror stories emanating from projects all across this country -- drugs, gun violence, gangs, etc. How do you kill someone over $20? Typical hoodrat mentality.
