URGENT: Another New York police has been killed in the line of duty. According to the NY Post, a police officer was killed Sunday morning when he was pushed down a flight of stairs by an emotionally disturbed person at St. Marks Place in the Boerum Hill section of Brooklyn. The officer was responding to a call about that person. The newspaper said he was pushed down the stairs when he attempted to handcuff the person. He was rushed to Lutheran Hospital where he was declared dead at 6:59 a.m. The officer was assigned to the 84th precinct in Brooklyn.
