Kansas GOP State Rep. Virgil Peck Says "Illegal Immigrants Should be Treated Like Wild Hog & Shot by Gunmen from Helicopters"

Kansas GOP state rep. Virgil Peck says "illegal immigrants should be treated like wild hog and shot by gunmen from helicopters.

Kansas Republican state legislator Virgil Peck sparked controversy Monday for saying "illegal immigrants should be treated like wild hog and shot by gunmen from helicopters." Wow, is he also talking about those illegal immigrants who stole the land from the Native Indians? The despicable comments were uttered by Peck at a state spending meeting for controlling feral swine, according to the Daily Mail. He claims he was only joking and that he "was just speaking like a southeast Kansas person." Right.

Mr Peck made his comment during a discussion by the House Appropriations Committee on state spending for controlling feral swine. After one of the committee members talked about a program that uses hunters in helicopters to shoot wild swine, Mr Peck suggested that may be a way to control illegal immigration.

He said: 'It looks like to me if shooting these immigrating feral hogs works maybe we have found (a solution) to our illegal immigration problem.'He said most of his constituents are upset with illegal immigration and the state and federal government response.

Appropriations Chairman Marc Rhoades, said Mr Peck’s comment was inappropriate. Mr Rhoades said he thought Mr Peck was joking, but added, 'Hopefully he won’t do it again.' Defiant, Mr Peck added that most of his constituents are extremely upset with illegal immigration and the state and federal government response. Source
Most people in the U.S. are upset about illegal immigration and want something done to stem the tide, but you don't hear people calling for this to be done through violent means. This is absolutely unbelievable and then the Republican Party wonders why it can't capture more of the black and Latino vote? Precisely for this reason and the fact they are in bed with the big business and Wall Street, as well as looking out for the rich and not Main Street.
