Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) blames Israeli commando raid of Gaza-bound flotilla on President Barack Obama.

Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) will say just about anything to come across as on the side of the people, even if it means looking like a real idiot. During his appearance on Fox News last night, he said the raid on the flotilla bound from the Gaza-blockaded area was “another step in a chain of unfortunate events beginning with President Obama’s insistence that there be a [settlement construction] freeze:”

MCCAIN: So what I think is, they wanted to provoke an international incident.

HANNITY: Well, they did.

MCCAIN: And possibly a crisis to bring more pressure to bear against Israel. But this is another step in a chain of unfortunate events beginning with President Obama’s insistence that there be a freeze, as a precondition for peace talks, a freeze on settlements in Jerusalem. Sean Hannity was only too happy to continue this ridiculous line of reasoning with McCain. Could someone please tell me how this is President Barack Obama's fault? I hope the people of Arizona will send John McCain home to one of his many houses this fall.
