Police: Robert Taylor Shot & Killed Estranged Wife Joy, Then Shoots Himself in Lawrenceville-Area Home

Robert Taylor of Lawrenceville, Ga., reportedly shot and killed his estranged wife, Joy Taylor, Sunday evening and then shot himself.
Robert Taylor, 37, arrived home to the 1000 block of Park Creek Circle, near Cruse Road, about 8:25 p.m., police said. He confronted Joy Taylor, 38, and an argument ensued in the driveway, police said.

Robert Taylor pulled a gun and shot her, then shot himself, police said. Joy Taylor was pronounced dead on the scene. Robert Taylor was taken to Gwinnett Medical Center, where he is listed in critical condition. Source: AJC
Police said the couple were going through a separation. It is sad, but separation and divorce tend to bring out the worst in some people. I am glad he did not die so he can stand trial for his selfish actions. Pulling out a gun and shooting your spouse or significant other isn't the way to solve problems and conflicts.
