Steven Pieper Arrested & Charged with 2nd Degree Murder in the Death of Ex-Girlfriend Jenni-Lyn Watson

Steven Pieper, ex-boyfriend of college student Jenni-Lyn Watson, charged with second degree murder & dumping her body.

Steven Pieper, the ex-boyfriend of Jenni-Lyn Watson, was arrested after the Mercyhurst College student's body was found in a storage shed near Syracuse Saturday afternoon. He was charged with second-degree murder. He pled not guilty to the murder and to dumping her body in the park.  Pieper, 21, is being held without bail because of the nature of the charges, according to the Syracuse Post-Standard.

Steven M. Pieper, 21, of 8237 Coconut Tree Drive, Clay, was arrested about 4 p.m. and arraigned tonight on a charge of second-degree murder in Clay Town Court. District Attorney William Fitzpatrick said Pieper (PIE-per) and Watson had been involved in an on-and-off relationship, which Watson tried to end in early October. Domestic violence cuts across socio-economic, religious and racial backgrounds and sexual orientation.
