Bobby Maurice Tillman beaten and stomped to death after fight breaks out at Douglasville, Ga., house party, four black teens arrested.

SHOCK:  Bobby Maurice Tillman, 18, of Douglasville, Ga., was beaten to death at a house party Saturday night. Four people have been charged in the killing. According to WSB-TV, deputies said the incident began at the house party around 1 a.m. The party reportedly grew to about 80 attendees and at some point a fight broke out. Er, could someone tell me where the parents who lived in the house were? This shouldn't have happened on their watch, in their home. Deputies said the incident began with a small house party on Independence Drive around 1 a.m. and the party reportedly grew until there were eventually up to 80 attendees. It is a sad commentary that some of our black youths have a propensity to commit acts of violence. Three black teens are facing murder in a case of black-on-black crime. Some elements in our society do not deserve to live among civilized, law-abiding and hard working people. Bobby Maurice Tillman's last hours on this earth were horrifying beyond words.

At some point, a fight broke out and the attackers beat 18-year-old Bobby Maurice Tillman, of Douglasville, until he died, Douglas County Sheriff Phil Miller said. Miller said Tillman did not provoke the attack.When deputies arrived, they rounded up numerous partygoers onto a bus for questioning, authorities said. Three teens were arrested and charged with murder in the beating, Miller said. A fourth teen was later arrested in connection with the incident.Georgia's West Branch NAACP chapter launched an investigation into the questioning. NAACP officials said they were concerned that parents may not have been notified about the bus interviews. Source: WSB-TV

 It is high time that some parents start taking their responsibility serious and do right by their children. There is no way this young man should have been beaten to death outside this home. This is such a tragedy.

UPDATE#1: According to 11 Alive News, Horace Damon Coleman, 19, Emanuel Benjamin Boykins, 18, and Quantez Devonta Mallory, 18, were booked into the Douglas County Jail early Sunday morning. A fourth suspect, Tracen Lamar Franklin, was being booked in the Douglas County jail Sunday afternoon. The young men are black. Yeah, I can hear their parents now -- my son was a good person and would never hurt anyone. Let's see how this is litigated in court. According to media reports, 57 people, mostly teens were taken in for questioning. The party was reportedly thrown by girls with their parents permission.

UPDATE2#: The parents of the girls who held the party will not face charges. They reportedly allowed the girls to have a party, inviting only 10 people. How they got 60 - 80 is beyond me. No drugs or alcohol was involved and the parents reportedly asked the kids to leave their home. A fight broke out between two girls outside the home. It seems Bobby Maurice Tillman was in the wrong place at the time when he was beaten and stomped to death by four thugs. 

UPDATE#3:  According to the WSB-TV newscast, the attack on Tillman was unprovoked. One suspect was reportedly quoted as saying the next male to pass will be attacked. Tillman happened upon the scene and was attacked viciously by these thugs. They all deserve the death penalty. Zero tolerance for such a vicious attack. I would venture to say, this isn't the first time these young men have done something untoward to another person.  If they are convicted in a court of law, they don't deserve to live and breath freely. It is safe to say, more often than not, the crimes being committed in Atlanta are by young black men. Something is seriously wrong with some of our young people.

UPDATE#4: Here's a prime example why people cannot take the NAACP serious. A local chapter will stage a protest in the parking lot of the police department over the sheriff's decision to apprehend many of the teens who were outside the home to find out who the suspects were. Isn't the job of the police to protect and to investigate crimes? So, it seems the NAACP would have been A-okay with the thugs going free. Once again, the organization has proven it cannot be as objective as it should be. 

UPDATE#5: Bobby Maurice Tillman died of head and chest injuries, according to the coroner's office. In other words, he died of blunt force trauma. These four thugs should be handed down the death penalty.

UPDATE#6: I knew it was a matter of time before one of the parents of the accused murderers would come out saying her son was innocent. According to the 11 Alive News, Horace Coleman's mother, Reanna Coleman says her son tells her he is innocent and he had nothing to do with the fight. Er, he has a reason for saying he's innocent. He's on probation for a May 8, 2010, drug possession arrest. Seems like he's no stranger to breaking the law. I guess his reasoning is that his probation could be revoked, as it should. I am more inclined, given his history, to believe he was involved in this savage beating. There's more. Coleman was arrested in 2009 for driving with a suspended license, giving a false name and failure to appear. A true thug. Then there's Quantez Mallory, who was a football player at Douglas County High School. He, too, has a criminal record, having been arrested in May for fighting at the school. No stranger to fighting. The other two teens, Emanual Boykins an d Tracen Franklin have no prior arrests.
