First Lady Michelle Obama's Chief of Staff Susan Sher to Leave After One Year in Position

First Lady Michelle Obama is losing another chief of staff in just one year. Susan Sher will leave the White House and return to Chicago early next year. You will recall Ms. Sher took over the position from Jackie Norris, who left to take a position elsewhere in the government.

Could it be Ms. Sher's involvement in the Obama administration's efforts to pass health care reform that played a role in her decision to move on?

According to the Boston Herald, President Barack Obama said in a statement that Sher brought "tremendous skill and dedication" to the administration. A replacement for Ms. Sher has not been named.
