Charges Against Virginia Woman, Carmela Dela Rosa, to be Upgraded to Murder After Toddler She Threw Off Mall Walkway Dies

Carmela Dela Rosa facing murder charges after toddler granddaughter, Angelyn Ogdoc, she threw six stories over shopping mall walkway, dies.

SHOCK: Carmela Dela Rosa of Fairfax, Va., was arrested and charged with aggravated malicious wounding after throwing her two-and-half year old granddaughter, Angelyn Ogdoc, six stories off an outdoor walkway at Tysons Corner Center around 7:15 p.m. Monday, Fairfax County Police spokesperson Tawny Wright told WTOP. According to the Chicago Sun Times, the child has since died and the charges are expected to be upgraded to murder.

Police spokeswoman Tawny Wright said the toddler and Dela Rosa were leaving the mall with family when Dela Rosa allegedly picked Angelyn Ogdoc up and threw her off the walkway, according to the Chicago Sun Times.
