Rev. Al Sharpton Accuses NY Governor-Elect Andrew Cuomo of Lack of Diversity on Transition Team

NY governor-elect Andrew Cuomo pushes back at Rev. Al Sharpton's charge of a lack of diversity on his transition team.

I knew it was a matter of time before so-called civil rights leader Rev. Al Sharpton opened his mouth about New York's governor-elect Andrew Cuomo. You see, Sharpton is trying to throw his weight around about diversity on Cuomo's transition team. Er, one problem. He hasn't selected a transition team yet. Rev. Al's trying to start trouble.
"Once I announce it, then people can have a critique," Cuomo said after touring Sing Sing prison in Ossining, noting he hasn't assembled a team yet.

Sharpton expressed "serious concerns" and blasted Cuomo in the Daily News Wednesday for relying on a tight circle of white advisers. Cuomo insists he's just getting warmed up.

"I've said I want to have the most diverse work force in the history of the state of New York, and that's going to be one of my goals over the four years," Cuomo said after a later visit to the Manhattan Psychiatric Center. Source: NY Daily News
You know what's funny, Bobby Maurice Tillman was viciously beaten to death by four black thugs and I haven't heard peep out of Revs. Al Sharpton & Jesse Jackson. Shouldn't black-on-black crime be a focus of these two men's mission to rid the black community of social ills? Why start with Andrew Cuomo already?
