Atlanta Teen Tivarus Irving Shot & Killed Over Halloween Prank of Egging Vehicles

SHOCK: Tivarus Irving, 17, a resident of Union City, Ga., was shot & killed as a result of a Halloween prank. According to WSB-TV, Atlanta police said the incident began Sunday night at about 8 p.m. at the intersection of Joseph E. Boone Boulevard and Joseph E. Lowery Boulevard. Irving threw an egg at someone's car and the driver left the scene and later returned with a gun, fired the gun 10 times, killing the teen, according to WSB-TV.

The shooter was described as a black male in his late teens or early 20s, wearing a red M & M jacket. Police said the gunman was driving a gold, four-door Mercedes with a red temporary tag.

Police said while officers were still at the scene, a vehicle matching the description drove by the location. Officers stopped the driver and he was turned over to the homicide unit for questioning, police said. Source

I don't like the whole idea of egging someone's vehicle, but it certainly doesn't rise to the level of killing someone. Another black-on-black crime and another senseless murder.
