Fulton County police officer Michael Bernard Wilson arrested & charged with raping 12 year old stepdaughter in Ellenwood, Ga., home.
How shameful is it that a police officer is accused of raping a minor? Well, Fulton County police officer Michael Bernard Wilson was arrested by DeKalb County, Ga., police and charged with aggravated child molestation and rape of a 12 year old girl. That girl happens to be his stepdaughter.According to the Atlanta Journal Constitution, Wilson has been suspended without pay.The mother of a 12-year-old girl reported the crimes to DeKalb police, who secured arrest warrants against Wilson, Officer Jason Gagnon said.Wilson is being held without bond. I could say a few things, but I will reserve judgment until the case has been litigated and a verdict handed down. No matter how you look at it, one charged with upholding the law, shouldn't be accused of breaking the law. If the allegations are true, it is unconscionable that Mr. Wilson could even look at a child in a sexually suggestive manner, much less to rape that child.
Wilson, of Ellenwood, was arrested during a traffic stop, Gagnon said. He has been charged with two counts of child molestation, rape and false imprisonment, Gagnon said. Source: AJC
