NYC Chef Jeff Farley Accused by Black Cook, Julius Jones, of Wearing White Pillowcase to Pretend as a KKK Member

NYC chef Jeff Farley resigns after black cook, Julius Jones, accuses him of wearing white pillowcase and pretending to be a Ku Klux Klansman.

SHAME: Jeff Farley, the chef at Roger Smith Hotel in New York City, has resigned after a black employee, Julius Jones, accused him of wearing a white pillowcase to pretend to be a Ku Klux Klansman, according to the Daily News. Farley has said the allegations are "ridiculous" and said he did nothing wrong.
Farley said in his statement to management that he was pretending to be a ghost when the racially charged incident occurred just before Halloween.

But in Jones' account, Farley needed rags and found a pillowcase in a basket of towels under the oven. "He made it his business to get everyone's attention. He stood right in front of me and put on the pillowcase on his head."

"He said, 'How does that make you feel? Do you feel insulted?'" Jones said. "Everybody started laughing and I laughed, but I was shocked. He was acting like a Ku Klux Klansman."

Another kitchen worker recalled hearing Farley say to Jones: "Remember these days," according to a statement reviewed by The News. A second worker says he thought Farley was a ghost. Source: NY Daily News
Are we living in modern-times or back in the darkest age in America's history, where being black was literally a crime? Thankfully a surveillance camera in the kitchen caught the whole bizarre incident. The last time I checked, the KKK was hellbent on wiping out the black race in the U.S.A. That makes me wonder just what else has been going under Jeff Farley's watch.
