I can never understand how a raving lunatic like Glenn Beck got such a platform on which to spew ridiculous and flawed rhetoric. According to Media Matters, he said of slavery: "started with seemingly innocent ideas" and then "the government began to regulate things." No wonder President Obama took the position that Fox News is "destructive."
