More Bishop Eddie L. Long news. Well, it seems that a billboard erected by the church in Atlanta has sparked controversy. Why? Let's just say, the words on the billboard have hit a nerve with some people in the metropolitan area. The billboard features Long and the words, "Love Like Him, Live Like Him, Lead Like Him." He's wearing a somewhat snug fitting shirt with his arms prominently featured. Gee, I wonder who are those words referring to? New Birth Missionary Baptist church claims the words are referring to Jesus. Er, one problem, then why is Long on the billboard? Shouldn't it be a picture of Jesus Christ or one of the church? I attended the church in the late 1999 to early 2000 and I found Eddie L. Long to be a materialistic and egotistical man. I am not surprised the church erected this billboard in his honor.
