Actor/activist Harry Belafonte became the butt of jokes Friday morning when he fell asleep on live television during the KBAK-KBFX morning show in Bakersfield, Calif.
After Belafonte, who appeared via satellite from New York, was introduced by anchor Leyla Santiago, viewers could see him sitting in a chair with his arms crossed. Upon closer examination, yeah, it was pretty obvious Belafonte didn't hear his own "day oh, day oh, daylight come" call! This was embarrassing and well, let's just chock it up to a lack of sleep or being medicated on his part.Watch the video:
