Jahessye Shockley, 5, who resides in Phoenix, Ariz., with her family? She was last seen on Tuesday, at about 5 p.m., after her mother, Jerice Hunter, went out to run an errand and left her at home with her three older siblings. She is about 3ft 5in tall, and was last seen wearing a plain white shirt, blue jean shorts and pink sandals, according to media reports.
Police believe the little girl left through the front door of her home in the suburb of Glendale. Glendale police officer Tracey Breeden said the girl's father does not live with the family and there was no custody battle between the parents. Source
The mother has a criminal history, having been convicted of a felony in 2006, but that doesn't mean she could not have turned her life around since then.
