Former Pastor Kevin Pushia Sentenced to Life In Prison for Ordering Murder of Blind & Developmentally Disabled Man, Lemuel Wallace

Kevin Pushia, a former Baltimore pastor, was sentenced to life in prison for ordering the murder of a blind, developmentally disabled man, Lemuel Wallace, so he could collect $1.4 million in life insurance policies. Pushia pleaded guilty in August 2010, to being the mastermind behind the February 4, 2009, murder of Wallace, who was taken from his group home and shot to death in a park bathroom by an unknown gunman. Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Barry Williams also sentenced Pushia to 45 years in prison for charges related to the insurance fraud.
