Mark Prior of Abbotsford, Wisconsin, posted a sign in front of a future establishment saying "No Negroes Allowed." Er, once he opens his business he will be in clear violation of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. This is the kind of atmosphere Rand Paul wants to see, in light of comments he made some time ago about private businesses having the right to admit whomever they choose. What I find despicable is the fact that Mr. Prior said he has had problems with some blacks in the past. Okay, let's play Devil's Advocate for a minute. Didn't Shirley Sherrod have a problem with the white man who murdered her father? She came to a place in her life where she embraced decent, hard-working, law-abiding whites, didn't she? Mr. Prior said he plans to stick to his guns on this and will take it all the way to the Supreme Court if he has to. Well, we'll see you in court, Mr. Prior. We aren't about to take a giant step backward where race relations are concerned.
