"Queen of Soul" Aretha Franklin Has Pancreatic Cancer

R&B powerhouse Aretha Franklin has pancreatic cancer and recently underwent surgery.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Aretha Franklin and her family. It has been revealed that she has pancreatic cancer. According to Detroit's Fox 2 News the family of the “Queen of Soul” are very concerned.

Pop Crunch.com published an article today siting a report by The National Enquirer that Franklin has incurable pancreatic cancer. Fox 2 cold not confirm the type of cancer that Franklin has. Last week she underwent surgery for a mystery illness.

The surgery was deemed a success, but it came under mysterious circumstances. A few weeks ago Franklin canceled all concerts through May 2011 due to "medical reasons." Source: MyFoxDetroit
