The Hinterland Gazette will release some information on each candidate shortly. For voters in these districts, please take the time to learn about your candidates and don't just vote because they are black, Democrat, Hispanic, white or otherwise. Learn about their positions on the issues most important to you. To all my Democratic brothers and sisters, some Republican candidates are worth a second look, so don't let your so-called loyalty to the Democratic Party get in the way of voting for the candidate who best fits your needs. It's time to send career politicians back home. We need new people, new ideas and a new vision for America.
