SHOCK: According to the NY Post, an ex-con, who was waiting to see his parole officer, suddenly pulls gun and opens fire when his name was called. Officer hit.
Thankfully, the officer wasn’t seriously injured, and the perpetrator has been taken into custody. With the right judge, he won't be back out on the streets in the very near future.
