Tina Fey reprises impression of Sarah Palin on Saturday Night Live and satirized her entry into media.
Tina Fey is back and funny! She reprised her impression of Sarah "The Quitter" Palin on Saturday Night Live while hosting the sketch comedy show. This was Fey's first performance as Palin, since her hilarious impressions during the 2008 presidential campaign.
Fey appeared as Palin in a sketch introducing a mock ''Sarah Palin Network,'' in which she satirized Palin's entry into media. The former governor recently launched the program ''Real American Stories,'' which did not live up to the hype, on Fox News Channel and will soon begin production on ''Sarah Palin's Alaska,'' an eight-part series for TLC.
Fey appeared as Palin in a leather jacket with an American flag pin, and she introduced a lineup of shows like ''Tea Party Wheel of Fortune,'' ''Are You Smarter than a Half-Term Governor?'' and ''30 Main Street,'' a parody of her own ''30 Rock.''
Tina Fey didn't disappoint. Even her sketch on the "Weekend News Update" segment was hilarious. She talked about the skanks wrecking the homes of married men and yes, Tiki Barber did not escape SNL. The rest of the show was boring.
